ESG is mission critical for organizations across the globe, and internal audit has an important role to play. Join this session to learn about a practical approach for auditors to support their organizations’ ESG goals and reporting mandates. This session will include an introduction to the “what” and “why” of ESG for organizations and why that matters for internal auditors. We will also review some of the commonly used/widely adopted reporting standards as a starting approach for auditors.
In order to be awarded the full credit hours, you must attend the entire session and answer at least 3 of the polling questions. Once the requirements are met, your CPE certificate will be available to download in the webinar. Participants will earn 1.0 CPE credits.
Speakers:
Jim has more than 20 years of internal auditing experience in both the public and private sectors. He is currently a Senior Product Manager with TeamMate Audit Solutions where he works to continuously improve audit productivity while delivering strategic insights via TeamMate’s best-in-class solution. Previously, Jim served in a number of leadership roles at The Institute of Internal Auditors including Learning Portfolio Strategy, Standards and Professional Knowledge including The IIA’s International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF), professional guidance, the Audit Executive Center, the Financial Services Audit Center, the Public Sector Audit Center, the Environmental, Health and Safety Audit Center, Ia Magazine, North American and Global Advocacy, and The IIA’s Quality Services LLC.
Shawn engages with audit professionals from all segments to better understand audit trends and their impact on audit’s mission. He is currently on the TeamMate Public Sector team and was actively involve with the recent launch of TeamMate+ FedRAMP authorized cloud environment and is currently working to secure StateRAMP authorization.
